Carr Street Coogee 

The project brief required the full renovation of tired small two-bedroom 60s apartment with a stunning view looking north over Coogee Bay. Our aim was to increase connections to the view and the flow within the apartment from room to room. Walls where removed to expose the vista from the front entry and improve the living room circulation. Bedroom swing doors where replaced with hide away sliders that run full height to the ceiling creating a sense of openness. The kitchen was opened to the living dining zone  with joinery running from the kitchen, folding into the living room TV unit . Air conditioning units as well as other equipment (fridge , washer, hot water etc)  where cleverly integrated and hidden. The finishes pallet was kept spare, using whites with vertical panelling, carrara marble and timber highlights to allow the views to be the hero in a relaxed coastal themed interior.
